My favorite tour was of the special needs school called The Help Center. Amazing program and amazing that not so long ago children with special needs just stayed at home and were the shame of the family. This is the only center which is a charity but is state of the art. I love the tooth brushes lined in a row. The picture on the left is the daily schedule..it is a calendar Saturday-Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are the weekend here..so you will see prayer for Friday.
Religion is everywhere. What do you notice about this advertisement? Yes, no face.
I am getting tired of not being free. I want to swim and go for a walk by myself. I put my toe in the red sea..but had to sneak away from the group to do it. Glad I didn't get caught.
Another great lunch.

Oh Pam! I'm so sad to hear you can't even swim!! I showed the advertisement to my Newspaper class, they were all over the "injustices," as they put it, that you are experiencing. They wanted me to ask why you chose to go to a country with such...uh, expectations, of women (may have to have you come talk to them when you triumphantly return!).
Glad you got to sneak your toe into the red sea! Maybe someday, when things change... women will be going skinny dipping in the red sea!!
i agree with gretzie, wombs skinning dipping in the red sea would be a good statement. NOT that i'm suggesting you do that pam-ELLA-ELLA-ELLA!
i miss you, but am loving your stories. keep em coming.

Wonderful seeing and hearing you on the Video Blog. How amazing our technology...and yet you are in a part of the world that won't let you swim in the Red Sea...but times they are a changing!! And someday you will return and swim all you want.
Thanks again for blogging...it is fun to watch your adventure.
LOTS of rain here in Newport...but we won't have to water for awhile. All is well here.
Enjoy the Moments
